It is important to understand how healthy behaviors, and a healthy lifestyle, change during this stage of life
Food consumption in adolescence is a predictor of intake in adulthood
During adolescence, several chronic diseases may have their origin and progression
The association between age and changes in self-reported prevalence of healthy behaviors in adolescents.
As age increased, the prevalence of adolescents with a healthy lifestyle decreased.
The decreasing trend of fruit and vegetable consumption

the benefits of abstinence from alcohol consumption and tobacco usage
Schools are a gateway to provide adolescents with skills to manage and improve their lifestyle
In schools, they are subjected to the transmission of knowledge that can be used to improve their health
There is evidence that school-based single-component or multi-component interventions can improve short- and long-term adolescents’ healthy behaviors
