Partial vulvectomy—removes a part of the vulva, as well as
some nearby tissue and lymph nodes.

Radical vulvectomy—removes the entire vulva, including
nearby tissue and lymph nodes. (Mayo clinic, 1998-2021)
Preoperative care

patient must be encouraged to verbalise her concerns in
relation to her condition prior surgery(Juta's, 2015)
Postoperative care
teach the patient about good personal hygiene practices, pain medications,
antibiotics to prevent infection
and medication to prevent blood clots
monitor vitals signs in order to catch any complication early(Juta's, 2015)
