Preparation to teach young children:
To teach young children, teachers should be prepared either with materials, ways of teaching and most importantly the mindset.
It is challenging to teach young children therefore a thorough preparation is needed in order to maximize the outcome of the teaching and learning process.
Misunderstanding in teaching young children:

Truthfully, teachers have to put a lot of effort to teach young children. Teachers have to take into consideration of children's needs and interests.
Only use simple language to teach children.
Children can actually learn a complex language as they have a huge learning potential.
Teaching Young Children Effectively:
Teachers should be aware of the appropriate ways of presenting the language to the children.
Good rapport between teacher and children have to be established.
Teachers have to provide fun learning environment for the children.
Things to Consider While Teaching Young Children:
Activities conducted in classroom should be appropriate with all kinds of students' learning styles.
Allow the children to experiment things.
Encourage the children to use the language either in reading, writing, speaking or listening.
Include varieties in the classroom such as playing, reading, experimenting, etc.
Prepare a tentative routine of some interesting activities.
Avoid competition in the classroom.
Use correct grammar while talking to them without actually teaching the grammar directly.
Assess children by looking at their daily progress.
How to Teach Preschoolers:
Conduct a simple and short activities to avoid them from being bored of loss their engagement.
Include songs and gestures in the teaching and learning
Worksheets for preschoolers are less common.
Provide stories for them to listen as they may not read much at that age.
How To Reach Young Learners:
Use technology in teaching and learning process as children nowadays are familiar with technology.
Build rapport with children by using humors in the lesson as they will feel less pressured.
Provide topics that are related to them.
Provide varieties of activities.
