the double burden of malnutrition facing the pacific is that they are eating too little at critical of growth and development or too much of bad foods and becoming fat.

New Guinea has the biggest rate of stunting at 43% followed by the Solomon islands at 33% then followed by Nauru at 26% then by Vanuatu at 24% and then Tuvalu at 10%

ill health for children is closely linked with poor educational achievement because if a child is sick then they will miss stuff at school leading to worse education which increases chances of poverty later in life as without good qualifications you can't get good jobs which will drag you below the poverty line
the lack of family planning affects the poor as if the poor had plans with their family to get money if they got poor then they would be able to get money from them.
