Harvest Festival app - Coggle Diagram
Harvest Festival app
Impacts
Tourists and residents daily lives will be improved by making tasks easier. For example, if someone needed directions somewhere the app has that, or if they want to see important notices from the government the app has that. In other words, it's an easy access source of information.
Government funding the app will come off as innovative/modern and can be profitable for them if businesses want to be advertised on their app.
Local Businesses (such as restaurants and hotels) and tourist attractions (such as the Harvest Festival) will be positively impacted economically as the app can advertise their businesses to tourists.

Usability principles
User will always need to hit "Save changes" after selecting something different in settings. (Safety)
There will be a prompt asking if the user wants to make the change they selected. An example of this is when they select the language for the app it will ask "Are you sure you want this language?" with a Yes or No button below to accept. (Safety)
Buttons that will be used in the app are universally used by other apps so they are easy to recognise. (Learnability) (accessibility)
There will be a dropdown when the user wants to select something so they cannot answer with an invalid input. (Safety)
Large buttons will be used to cater for people with large finger's or people who wear gloves. This can be changed though in settings if user dislikes the feature. (Accessibility) (it's cold in tiny town)
