        Petro: shift in era: "By the mid-1990s...AIDS was no longer just a gay disease, was becoming a heterosexual...epidemic" (3).

        What comes next in the medical breakthrough era? Two things>>>
        
        1 it is no longer a death sentence, so it takes the wind out of that argument
        
        2 it is no longer a gay disease
