How We Do - Coggle Diagram

- - - - Rules are necessary to be interpreted, not simply just known. This means, people tend to make changes to the rules, in subtle ways.
      - Culture is appropriated by agents (people who can do things such as make decisions and act on them)
        
        Agents appropriate culture but in the process of doing so, they change it.
    - - Cultural norms: rules which outline the acceptable ways to think, feel, and behave.
- - - - Other movements include the non-violent protests led by Mahondas K Gandhi in India which resisted the dominance of the British colonial rule and the civil rights movement in USA which resisted racial discrimination and segregation
- - - - sometimes these practices or behaviours are as simple as hand guestures,
      - The example in the book is queuing, in Australia it isn't uncommon to see people lining up if there are more than a few people in one spot, doing such in a place where there is no such practice makes them look ridiculous.
