It is important to differentiate between the terms verification and evaluation of learning. Verification is the process by which what the student has learned is tested, while evaluation is the process that assesses the results and the how of the educational process, which may or may not be translated into a grade or mark.
We have to assess the knowledge, attitudes, skills and performances involved in the mastery of a competency. We will refer, therefore, to the:
