- Cheap
- no power dependence

2) NON PROJECTED TOOLS
- Graph (2D)
-> line graph, bar graph, circle/pie graph, pictorial graph
- Maps (2D)
-> not visible to all the students in the students.
-> map must have the relevant details.
- Chart (2D)
-> Summarizes information.
-> Presents matter symbolically.
-> Presents abstract ideas in visual form.
- Poster (2D)
-> Use minimum words, Simplicity of layout, Attractive and catchy.
-> Motivate the class, can highlight events and projects.
-> Poster conveys a single theme
- Flash Card (2D)
-> Easy to carry
-> contents presented in a series are easily recognized
-> students cannot get the complete view of the concept
- Models (3D)
-> As a visual support material in instruction
-> can reduce the size of large objects so that students can observe and handle easily.

-> Easy to handle and carry, no darkened room needed
-> Dependence on power
-> Straining the eye of the learners

-> Wider audience reach as compared to others
-> Audio and video files can be played

-> vital for making presentations
- PowerPoint Slides
-> very easy to make presentation slides
- Film Strips
-> can be prepared for pictures, diagrams and
graphs etc.
-> there is a sequential movement in the screen
-> can stop and move different frames in a film strip
