- - - - Wolves kill and eat other animals for food. Depending on where they live, wolves live mainly on the meat from such animals as deer, moose, elk or bison. They also eat beavers,rabbits and even mice. They do not eat humans. Wolves are not a threat to humans! Wolves are very shy around people and try to avoid them.
  - - - It has a trunk and tusks which keep him alive. It uses its tusks in order to protect himself. It uses its trunk in order to drink, gather food and bathe itself. These things are a physical part of the animal.If the animal did not have these things it would not be able to eat, drink, bath itself or protect itself
  - - - Giraffes are well adapted to a life in a savannah. They drink water when it is aivailable but can go weeks without it, they rely on morning dew and the water content of their food. Their very long necks are an adaption to feeding at high levels in the treetops. Their physical adaption, a long neck, does not only help them to graze but also helps them keep track of predators and it enables visual communication with other giraffe over several miles.
- - - - Blue whales live in all the world's oceans, except the Arctic, occasionally swimming in small groups but usually alone or in pairs. They often spend summers feeding in polar waters and undertake lengthy migrations towards the Equator as winter arrives.
    - - Lifespan & Reproduction. Loggerhead sea turtles are long-lived and could live 70 to 80 years or more. Female loggerheads reach maturity at about 35 years of age. Every 2 to 3 years they mate in coastal waters and return to nest on a beach in the general area where they hatched decades earlier.
    - - Bull sharks live throughout the world, in shallow, warm ocean waters. They've been known to swim up into freshwater rivers. Humans are not part of a bull shark's normal prey. ... Sharks must keep salt in their bodies to survive, and most can live only in salt water.
