Themes of Rebelion , fear, trust and love
Love
Strong themes of love in this play, as the entire story is about 2 star crossed lovers but there are more hidden themes of love such as the love Friar Seems to have for Romeo as a mentor/ parent figure or the love between Romeo and Mercutio as best friend, the unrequited love that Paris has for Juliet, and of course the love between Romeo and Juliet seemingly undying until yknow they die
Fear
The elements of fear in this are more hidden, Romeo is afraid he will never find anyone like rosalia again, Juliet fears having to marry paris, Mercutio fears his death as he dies.
Trust
There are many forms of trust in this play as trust is a large foundation in and human relationship, Romeo trusts Mercutio when going to the party, as soon as Romeo meets Juliet there is this suprising amount of trust between these two strangers, Friar laurence and Romeo have this large bond of trust keeping Friar laurence from ratting out romeo, While the capulets and montagues have no trust beacause the are eneymys, Tybalt doesnt even trust to have montagues even at their party.
Rebelion
The themes of rebelion comes forom Youth and rebelling against aged characters, although Friar and the nurce both seem to be on the side of youth even though they are old charcters there is rebellion even at the very start of the play with the montague and capulet servents rebelling and getting into a fued, right up to the next scene where Romeo and his friends are sneaking into a party that they arent meant to be at, and of course when Juliet rebels against her parents wishes to marry paris, also when Romeo does leave town immeadiatly is him rebeling against the princes wishes
