What is the best way to learn a new language?
Reading
We can learned to speak the language and only then do we learn what our spoken language looks like in written form. We learn the alphabet. We learn to recognize individual letters, then words. Then, we learn how connect these words and symbols into meaningful strings to create sentences.
By reading interesting content in the language we want to learn and the content that grabs and holds our attention, we can pick up all the vocabulary and grammar we need to know.
When reading in a new language, everything feels different, and many things are different. the t in Portuguese makes something more like the ch sound. In Spanish, -e has the same name that we call the letter -a in English.
Travelling
Learning a new language while travelling can open up our world to more interactions with interesting people and will take our travel experiences to a deeper level.
We can learn about other culture from other country. It is because learning the basics of the local language will help you get around places and make travel so much easier, turning it into a fun and memorable experience.
For instance, if we travel abroad and need to know where the historical places is, it’s easiest to ask in the local language. If we don’t know the language very well, we might not fully understand the response, but at the very least, the person we’re talking to can understand our meaning well enough to point us in the right direction.
Movies and songs
try listening to a radio, youtube, Spotify or any applications for your target language either in the car, on a podcast, or online.

For example, we can try to join Chinese class to gain more about their vocabulary. We alsa can try to communicate with our chinese friends to improve our language.
Socialising
For instance, if we have a friend whose native language is Chinese and they speak English with us, we may feel a deeper connection with them than if we had to communicate exclusively in Chinese and speaking Chinese with them can in turn put them at ease.
When we interact with a person who has different interests and activities, we learn new words that they acquired through their own unique experiences.
Socializing can improve your vocabulary just like vocabulary benefits your ability to socialize.
Games
Games take advantage of our natural competitiveness and can help us practice a new language skills even when we feel tired.
Games provide language practice in the various skills like speaking, writing, listening and reading. It can encourage people to interact and communicate. It alsa can create a meaningful context for language use.
