Muslims understand and believe that Allah (God) created the world in six days and that he sent prophets such as Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus, and lastly Muhammad, who called people to worship only him. Sunni Muslims believe that God is the Creator of all actions however, He has given man power and desire so that he himself may choose whether to do a certain action or not. According to the shahada, it is said that There is no god but Allah, Muslims live by that saying throughout their life as well as believing that Muhammad was the last prophet. Muslims follow the commands of Allah by doing the following: Belief in Allah as the one true God, Belief in angels as the instruments of God's will, Belief in the four books, the Torah, Zabur, Injil, and Quran, Belief in the twenty-eight prophets and Belief in a final day of judgment. Another thing that muslims follow which is commanded by Allah is the five pillars of Islam, and these pillars are the core beliefs and practices of Islam: Profession of Faith (shahada), The belief that "There is no god but God, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God" is central to Islam, Salat (Prayer). Zakat (Charity), Sawn (Fasting) and Hajj (Pilgrimage). These commands are displayed for Muslims to follow throughout this life as these are Allah’s commands in this world. Muslims express their relationship with god through doing these commands given to them by Allah, building relationships with him can be done through praying and reading the Quran which are obligatory in Islam.
