Getting us, as a team back to timely Nom pickup
New FY, chance to reflect
Opportunity area in FTA to get things owned quicker - hear this from the field. Tactical one
take a week, or 2
Not super consistent/predictable
Rewind to pre-covid. Had SLA
Had expectation of 2 day to get PM assigned
World and business was different
Very deliberate to not push Red noms HARD. Manage, but accept these
We've never revisited that - we think now might be a good time to have that conversation+discussion. As good a time as any. If not now, then when?
What we want to revisit:
Want to keep self selection if at all possible
Balance workload and other items on plate
Get to a place where Red is not Normal and a given
Re-set bar and expectation that we get noms in Green. Yellow is the new Red
Vacation planning - keep this sensible. Out for a month one thing. If out for a week, so are the AT too.
Have leads as a backstop - expect Green and worst case Yellow look after themselves
Collective responsibility to not have Reds - working with mgr to balance portfolio
Doesn't change how many noms there are - just more urgency and level set on when we get them picked up
Take time today to collectively try and re-set all our expectations. To have Red not be okay.
Question: can we commit, collectively, as a team to get to noms before they get to Red, and/or - what support is needed
How far we've come in last 12m+background/context
AMMP less labourous
Not denying there's not lots going on, people aren't busy - revisit the topic of how we keep on top of the Unassigned
Holiday season - but don't have that many out
Number of Pending Noms in team <30, has been 2x of 3x that
Number of mainstream Projects active is down a lot . 500-andsomething. 800 in Jan, 900 1y ago
Avg time a Project is open is less - influenced by stronger scoping, COS, TDP etc
25 strong team of PMs
