Snowball Edge
Features:
- move TBs or PBs of data
- Can move data over the network with a fee
- Pay per data transfer job
- Provide block storage & S3-compatible object storage

Data Migration (image)

Usage Process:
- request Snowball devices from AWS console for delivery
- install Snowball client/ AWS OpsHub on my servers
- connect Snowball to my servers and copy files using client
- Ship back the device to AWS facility
- AWS load data to S3 bucket
- AWS wiped clean the Snowball
AWS OpsHub (image)
Features:
- software install on computer/ laptop to manage Snow Family Device instead of CLI
Usages:
- Unlocking and configuring single or clustered devices
- transfer files
- launching and managing instances running on Snow Family Devices
- Monitor device metrics (e.g. storage capacity, active instances)
- launch compatible AWS services (e.g. AWS DataSync)
Snowcone
Features:
- Small, portable computing, rugged & secure, withstands harsh environments
- Light
- Device used for edge computing, date storage and transfer
- 8TBs of usable storage
- Good fit for space-constrained environment
- Must provide my own battery/ cables
- Can be sent back to AWS offline or connect to internet and use AWS DataSync for data transfer
Snowmobile
Features:
- Transfer exabytes of data (1 EB = 1,000 PB = 1,000,000 TBS)
- each Snowmobile has 100 PB of capacity
- high security, temperature controlled, GPS, 24/7 video surveillance
