2: Ability to force & make decisions, financial stability, dictates the working system, allies & technological prowess (i.e. military equipment + research)
- Resources, is desired by all, depends on whether the 'people' think you're powerful (i.e. more of perception than action), ability to take freedom & rights (abused power), extraordinaire abilities.
- The ability to exert influence without physical force
- Opportunity to make change, manage issues to achieve a larger vision, inspiration & motivation
- Stereotypically: Authority, command & control i.e. Coercive power but (now) technology has made power more sharable.
- While all individuals have the power to influence, power is distributed variably between all of us i.e. figures of authority that create choices for microeconomic & sociocultural factors.
- Authoritative bodies generally revolve around ideas that belong to the near future (i.e. renewable energy projects) or mass media. [To sustain power]
- May transform economic, political or cultural practices i.e. Amazon + Transport & (intra) Trade liberalization
