A form of parliamentary government originating from the united kingdom. consists of two houses voted for by the people, a sovereign to be a head of state

The way good citizens contribute or take place in society. this can be via voting in an election or referendum, serving jury or paying taxes

Preferential voting
this is where voters label their most preferred to their least preferred, used in the House of Representatives

A more complex form of preferential voting, used in the senate

an individual who has committed as illegal act that inflicts harm on another individual and/or society, is taken to court [prosecuted] by the state.

Simple offences of the law, usually resulting in a fine and not jail time, e.g., speeding on the highway, minor robbery, ,

Indictable offences are major breaches of the law in a serious way, e.g., armed robbery, murder, rape, etc.
