Problem
The problem was that the boy couldn't have a drum because his mother didn't have enough money to buy him one.

Solution
The strange little man gave the mother's boy a "magic" stick and she gave it to the boy, then, he gave it to the old woman and she gave him a bread in return. And so on and on, the boy gave people things they needed and got things in return, until someone gave him a drum.
Setting
The story was settled in a field that had a road that led to a village, and next to this road, there was a river, where people washed their clothes. The boy walked this road along the field helping a lot of people.
