While certain futuristic stuff have been predicted correctly (bio engineering, consumerism, drug use), other things have been completely missed out - advent of computers and computing capabilities. This completely changes how certain scenarios will pan out.
In the start, students are described to take notes furiously with pen and paper. With current recording technology, this would have been totally unnecessary. This is the first stark point which shows this book is written in 1932.

Environment impact of this kind of capitalisitic consumerism is missing. Have they no need for nature and environment, have they overcome the need. Are they in harmony with nature.
What runs the society? How is the economics, who owns the natural resources?
