History of education in Ecuador
ORGANIZATION
Despite the limitations derived from poverty and prejudice, education in our country has improved.
The academic results of students from public and private institutions depend on the socioeconomic and cultural level of the students.
The Ecuadorian government guarantees free education
In 1835, public education is supported by religious orders.
El Plan Decenal de Educación

Establishes eight policies generated and approved.
Were established as state policies
for public sector investment in education.
It is true that within private education there is better infrastructure than in public education.
Paying a high cost for private education does not guarantee a quality education. :
In most cases, both public and private education have shown excellence in education.
Private tuition is the answer to the problems of the public system.

They start with less than 5 years
Children seek to experiment, play and create which is done through interaction with others, nature and their culture.
It is divided into two levels
Initial one

Infants 3 to 5 years
Your initial registration 4 years old up to 120 days after the first day of classes.
Parents and people around them must provide care, protection and affection
The environment must be divided for the different activities
Must allow children to play independently
Basic
If a child does not reach the average they have to repeat the year
The evaluation aims to be permanent, systematic and scientific
It allows to diagnose the learning situation to improve it
There are ten years in which learning skills and competencies in the previous stage are reinforced, broadened and deepened
Its objective is to develop the capacities, abilities, skills and competences
Starts from 5 years
It is divided into 4 sublevels
High School (
first grade),
basic elementary
(second, third, and fourth grade),
middle school
(fifth, sixth, and seventh grade, and
higher basic
(eighth, ninth, and tenth grade)
High school
Proposes a matrix of common basic learning
Not in school
Continuous and methodical process, through which they acquire knowledge, abilities and skills

It incorporates parents, the community and various social, productive, cultural, and sports sectors.
Processes that are developed to achieve pedagogical improvement
-Participatory construction of the Community Institutional Educational Plan.
-Conference on socialization of the CEMIL Institutional Educational Plan.
-Execution of improvement plans for the Millennium Educational Community.
-Entrepreneurship projects of the Millennium Educational Units.

Public
Universal access is guaranteed
It is the right of every person
They serve mainly the poor

Parents choose the type of education they want for their children
