Falling intonation
describes how the voice falls on the final stressed syllable.
Fall-rise intonation
describes how the voices are not sure about something.
Rising intonation
describes how the voice rises at the end of a sentence.

allows us to express emotions and attitudes.
The accentual function
it helps produce the effect of prominence in syllables.
The grammar function
the listener can better recognize the grammatical and syntactic structure.
