MEETING FOLLOW UP
2-REFLECTION
-
After the meeting is over, take some time to debrief, and determine what went well and what could have been done better. Evaluate the meeting's effectiveness based on how well you met the objective. This will help you continue to improve your process of running effective meetings
Did this meeting result in something of value to the business?
Did we include the right people? If not, who should/shouldn’t be included in the future?
Were the meeting’s purpose and agenda clear?
Was it easy for you to contribute to the discussion?
For recurring meetings: are we holding this meeting on the right cadence? If not, how should we adjust?
Did we achieved the meeting's objective?
Did we taken up a minimum amount of time?
Did we left participants feeling that a sensible process has been followed?
1-MINUTES –
Include more in minutes than in attendees. This will be forwarded to all participants and other stakeholders
Value for a sharable minutes repository?
Better faster than complete (within meeting day)
Minutes should contain the key information necessary to support the meeting objective and support the next steps which should be part of these very minutes.
They can be very brief, but they should include these facts:
-
o If action was agreed on, record (and underline) the name of the person responsible for the assignment.
o What did you complete since we met last? This gives a sense of progress to the individual and the team.

If there are impediments, the team has made aware and can contribute to removing them
The date, time, and place of the next committee meeting. (when info available)
To whom: not only those that attended
