REQUIREMENTS
Application
a person cannot apply to be a judge and vacancies are not advertised
Qualification
must suitable qualified, min requirement (Art 123)
Citizenship of the country + 10 years service as
an advocate or a member of Judicial and Legal Service
Number of Judges – fix by the constitution but may be varied by YDPA
Resignation/Suspension/Retirement(Art 125)
Retirement – 65 years age + May resign at anytime
Shall not be removed from the office unless in accordance with this article
Article 125A (1)(a)
President COA and judge of COA may exercise power of a HC
Judge of HC in Malaya may exercise power of a judge of HC in Sabah and Sarawak and vice versa.
Chief Justice of FC and a judge of FC may exercise power of a judge of COA and HC
