Rahman Talib Report 1960
Headed by Abdul Rahman Talib, Minister of Education, Federation of Malaya in June 1960 to consolidate the education system of the country. They reviewed the implementation of the National Education Policy contained in the Razak Report and tried to improve the education system in the Federation of Malaya.

Education Act 1961
The Federal education policy aims to establish a national system of education to promote the cultural, economical, and political advancement in this country, besides making the Malay language the national language.

Hussein Onn Report 1971
The committee was headed by Hussein Onn, to provide a basic education for all children of school going age. At this time, the medium construction are Malay and English Language.

In September 1974, the committee was chaired by Dr Mahathir Mohamed also the deputy Prime Minister.
"...to review the goals and effectiveness of the present education system for the purpose of meeting the manpower needs of the country, both for the short and long terms. Besides to also ensure the education system meets the country's goals of producing a united disciplined and skilled society."
