Adverbs of frequency
An Adverb tells us something more about a verb, an adjective, a phrase or another adverb. It adds information about time, place, manner, cause, degree, or frequency.
The adverbs of frequency indicate how often something happens.
The most common adverbs of frequency are: always, usually, generally, often, sometimes, ever, occasionally, seldom, hardly ever, and ever.
In general, they are placed before the main verbs. However, they tend to come after linking or auxiliary verbs (be, do, have, will, can, could, should, must, might, may, ought).
