VERB PATTERNS :red_flag:
Verb patterns are formed when a verb is followed by another verb in a sentence.
Verb + to - infinitive:
This pattern consists of two consecutive verbs in the infinitive, that is, its present tense form. The second verb must be preceded by the word to, for example, to be /ser, estar or to buy /comprar.
I want to buy a car
Some of the verbs that fulfill this verb pattern are:

I love cycling in the mountains
I decided to end my relationship
I hope to have money for mom's gift

Verb + gerund (-ing)
This verb pattern is created when a verb is followed by another verb in the gerund, that is, with "-ing" as the ending.
This pattern is usually followed by like and dislike verbs such as:
Enjoy - Hate - Detest - Dislike -

Admit - Consider - Deny - Imagine - Suggest - Stop - Avoid - Start
I consider having savings even if I have a lot of money.
I avoid criticizing without knowing the situations.
I enjoy watching movies with my cousins.
I don't like listening to reggaeton
Begin - Finish - Keep - Miss - Practice - Risk
I have started practicing my English.
I have finished cooking.
I practice rough sports.
