It prepare performers for sports that require long periods of work. You don't need any special equipment and it is easy.

It can be difficult to track your progress and it requires determination not to skip the harder parts of the training.

It takes place over short periods of time. You can evaluate the quality of the session by using your heart rate

The exercises don't require much equipment and you can adapt it for different sports by training specific muscles.
Can effect training after as muscles may be sore. Exercises have a higher risk of injury if technique is poor
Plyometric

Short, high intensity exercises and it is the only form of training that directly improves power

Circuit
It consist of different stations that have different exercises. you work for equal amounts of time and rest for equal amounts of time.
They can be include any C of F and a performer can train all of their abilities at once. You can also do circuits as a large group.
You may be more likely to injure yourself because your technique and decrease due to fatigue. They also may need space and equipment.
