The tasks of an on-line teacher

Virtuality today allows us to reach new students, with new tastes and interests, and as teachers we cannot relegate ourselves to this. The requirement that is presented to us is then to explore the new possibilities that network-assisted education allows, an experience that from my experience has enriched the way of seeing the world, culture and society and leads me to reflect on the great responsibility that I have today before my students in their training process and society in my role as a virtual teacher.
the tutor teacher must have the following characteristics:
(a) A clear concern for teaching innovation (on-line teaching).
b) A firm commitment to assume the face-to-face and non-face-to-face tutoring function.
c) Availability of certain synchronous and asynchronous social and communication skills.
d) Dedication to the students and their preparation as a virtual tutor.
e) Democratic leadership qualities.
Training scenarios and ICT-based education
Blended learning can be understood as a teaching design that mixes a face-to-face (physical) part and technologies for a non-face-to-face (virtual) part that are hybridized with the objective of improving the teaching-learning process.
Teachers have the possibility to generate educational content in line with the interests or particularities of each student.

The role of the teacher in distance education. The tutorial function.
The characteristics of the tutorial action in distance education are the following:
It is developed around the student. It is he who decides the rhythm of learning, the depth or the sense of the orientations, clarifications or reinforcements that he needs.
It is not essential for learning to take place.
It acts as a potential intermediary mechanism between the materials and didactic communication systems and the students.
Does not control the basic aspects of course design and planning, although he/she can influence them through his/her mediating activity.
Carries out the evaluation according to previously established procedures.

Welcome participants as they enter the discussion.
Be friendly and encouraging to participants when leading the discussion.
Encourage participants to acknowledge the contributions of others when responding to specific contributions.

Use humor carefully, at least until a certain level of familiarity is reached.
