CONTINUOUS TENSES
Past Continuous
To express an action or activity that was in progress at a particular time in the past.
example: She was drinking coffee when I arrived.
Future Continuous
To indicate a future action that will be taking place for a certain period of time.
example: She will be drinking coffee tomorrow.
Present Continuous
To express action going on at the time of speaking.
example: She is drinking coffee

PERFECT TENSES
Past Perfect
To show the relationship between two events or activities that happen in the past
example: We had done our work before he came.
:pen:had + past participle – past tense
Future Perfect
To show an action that took place (happened) before a specific time in the future
example: By that time, I will have finished my homework.
Present Perfect
To describe an activity or situation that occur in the past and connected to now.
example: She has eaten lunch.

Past Simple
To express facts, general truths and physics law.
example: The sun rises in the east.
