Evaluation and notification of areas of concern (VAS)
Teacher collects evidence and presents to homeroom teacher and supervisor
Meeting is held to determine best methods and practices to improve performance
Student Support Plan is set
Parents are contacted to inform them of the plan and period of evaluation. Core subject teachers, managers, and school representatives (Vietnamese and English) meet with parents if needed.
Step 4:
Implementation of plan and monitoring. Vietnamese homeroom teacher meets with student and parents
Recognize needs for assisted technologies or differentiated learning
Observe student for a short period of time (3 weeks)
Set weekly meetings with student to discuss results of plan
