Second, we can refer to methodological changes, characterized by the growing trend towards the integration of quantitative and qualitative methods.
In the first place, it would be necessary to speak of conceptual changes, among which the paradigmatic example is the substitution of monolithic notions by other pluralistic ones, and the abandonment of the idea of a free evaluation of values.
Thirdly, the changes in the use of evaluation should be mentioned, with more emphasis on the "illuminative" conception than on the instrumental one and the insistence on the political character.
