Introduction
Is a webpage where a weblogger logs all the other webpages she finds interesting.
A weblog is an entry in which people submit an article and have access to any one and they can give a comment.
Conclusions
Weblogs is a very usefull tool for teachers and students. But it has to be use in a very carefull way to avoid technology misuses.
Also it may increase the time spent in managing the course compare to traditional courses.

To improved learning logs and students gets more responsabilities for the learning.

They are easy to setup.
Easier to publish all types of resources.
Are easy to create and maintain.
The update is very easy.
Reach a large audience without losing information quality.
Have access to information 24/7.
Benefits and Barriers
Benefits:
Is the use as e-learning tools.
Create a connection between students with the diverse opinions and interests.
Makes easier to share knowledge and information.
Discussions promote higher levels of thinking.
Support the team work.
Encourage informal communication, creativity and self-expression.
Benefits the teacher with the possibility of monitoring projects in real time.
Grading is faster and easier.
Prepared students better for the current labour market.
Students from different parts can share a weblog and teach and learn together.
Barriers
Instructors may have difficulty in assessing students participation.
The lack of computers or difficult access to the internet.
Restrictions in installing new software.
It can suffer troll infestations, people try to cause disruption by posting insulting, incorrect or off topic messages.
Most of the weblogs are public.
Security Concerns
Users may choose the level of risk of loss control and influence.
There is a direct relationship between the level of disclosure and the level of trust, as happens face to face.
In some cases the intructor preferthat access it would be only for their class.
