Where and how does my target market shop for similar products/services?

This is one brand that produces simple streetwear that also has amazing quality ... this brand is very pricey but will be one of my competitors.
What distribution channels do my top competitors use?
Having a website listing all of the prodcuts customers can directly order from the website and have it shipped straight to them using UPS, or even Fedx
What new distribution channels are being used in my industry?
For smaller brands starting out like mine - I have noticed direct sale. When customers order straight from us and we meet them to give them product. Of course to people in our city/state.
What other distribution channels are being used successfully in other industries that may be effectively adapted to my industry?
Sale through Wholesaler. Many women I know starting boutiques sully sale through a wholesaler. This is new to be because usually I create everything by hand and then sale to customers. Meaning I am not going through a wholesaler.
What typical barriers or challenges for entering into new distribution channels do I foresee?
For me selling my clothing in a department store kinda scrared me. What if no one likes my clothing and I get no sales?? What if not enough people are viewing my products. This would be new to me... and I see not enough sales. Using the internet my product is viewed by people all over.
How effective is my current selling method in meeting goals
I do not go through anyone to sale product. Using Shopify helps get my product sold via internet. For me this works since I work alone and so far it fits my business.

Direct mail, Product catalog w/ shipped

At this time no, Right now I do not need to go through anyone to sale products.
