Speech or Language Impairment
7% of the kindergarten population in Vietnam exhibited risk for Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) (Pham, et al., 2019).

Specific learning disability (SLD)
There is very little information about the prevalence of of SLD in Vietnam.

Intellectual disability (ID)
This is the most identified disability in Vietnam (Nguyen, Villa, Le, Thousand, & Pham, 2020).
Severe/Profound Symptoms of ID
seizures, mood disorders (anxiety, autism, etc.), motor skills impairment, vision problems, or hearing problems (WebMD).
Autism in Vietnam
Based on a study done in 2019, the prevalence of autism in the country was about 0.752% (Tran, et al., 2020.
Hanoi Club for Parents of Children with Autism
This club arranges workshops with local and foreign specialists in autism and maintains a support network for parents with autistic children.

Mild/Moderate Symptoms of ID
difficulty remembering things, inability to connect actions with consequences, behavior problems such as explosive tantrums, difficulty with problem-solving or logical thinking (WebMD).

Hearing Impairment
Roughly 26% of students identified with a hearing impairment in Vietnam attend special classrooms (Nguyen, Villa, Le, Thousand, & Pham, 2020).

Other Health Impairments including ADHD
There is very little information about prevalence of ADHD in Vietnam as it is considered a new concept with very few physicians having the knowledge to diagnosis this impairment properly (Le, 2019).
