The Palace Coup of XuanWuMen
Xuanwumen coup was a bloody coup launched by Qin King Li Shimin in Xuanwumen, the north gate of the palace in Changan City on the fourth day of June, the ninth year of Wude, Emperor Gaozu of Tang Dynasty. Li Jiancheng was the eldest son of Li Yuan, and naturally became the prince to deal with affairs. Li Shimin led soldiers to fight all the year round. Because of his fear of Li Shimin, the prince often used deceit secretly. After a long struggle, Li Shimin gradually gained the upper hand, The final design is to kill his brother in Xuanwu Gate, which is called the change of Xuanwu Gate in history.
