Short Adejctives
Rules
If an adjective has one syllable, add the suffix -er to the end.
Example
short-shorter
If it ends in a consonant,
vowel is doubled
Example
wet-wetter
If it ends in -e, add
-r to the end
Example
large-larger
If it has two syllables and ends in -y, change the y to i and add the suffix -er
Example
tiny-tinier
Long Adjectives
Added more before the adjective.
Example
attractive- more attractive
Or you can add the suffix -er
