        Creates a larger ecosystem
      - People grow plants in parks/gardens.
        
        Certain exotic species may be planted, which effects the ecosystem and biodiversity.
        
        Feeding opportunities
        
        More species may thrive in one environment.
        
        Plants such as the "kaka beak" shrub that are nearly extinct in the wild may thrive in gardens.
    - - Pets may effect biodiversity, overusing resources and killing animals.
      - Gardeners may use snail pellets. This effects the ecosystem as it destroys the balance.
      - Worms benefit plants (decomposing), animals (food through worms themselves/plants), gardeners (useful).
      - People enjoy to see fauna closer to home.
      - Animals may be considered "good" or "bad" by humans.
      - Some animals enjoy the opportunities created by humans.
        
        Example: I once saw a documentary where a species of Australian reptile was so used to living in cities and had evolved so fast that studies show the city-living individuals were unusually genetically different from the individuals living in their natural habitat!
  - - - Rubbish left by humans provides shelter and food.
        
        There is natural healthy competition for resources.
      - Park infrastructure e.g. park benches, bird tables
        
        There are several places where creatures may eat and rest.
        
        The population thrives.
      - Cracks in pavements provide opportunities for insects.
    - - Fertile soil allows plants to grow.
        
        More food and living opportunities are generated.
      - Rocks, including those placed by humans, create places for animals to rest, crevices for insects to live, and areas for lichens and mosses.
        
        Food for birds and some mammals.
      - Waterways and sewer systems provide drinking areas and ponds for frogs, bacteria, etc.
