UPDATE??
Jane received a letter from Caroline, inviting Jane for a dinner with the Bingley family. Jane asked Mrs. Bennet for a carriage to go to Netherfield, but Mrs. Bennet asked Jane to travel with just a horse instead, despite the bad weather coming up. Mrs. Bennet's plan was to make Jane stay overnight in Mr. Bingley's place by preventing her from coming back home, as she can't pass through the rain with just a horse. Mrs. Bennet sent off Jane without any worries, but the sisters were worried about her.
The next day, Mrs. Bennet received a letter from Jane. Jane wrote that she fell sick as she couldn't avoid the bad weather last night. Mrs. Bennet wasn't worried as she assumed that it would be just a light fever, but Elizabeth was very worried about her. Elizabeth decides to walk to Netherfield, and Catherine and Lydia accompanied her until Merytone.
After walking for three miles, Elizabeth finally arrived at Bingley's place. The Bingley's sisters were not welcoming Elizabeth due to her skirt and stockings being dirtied from the muds during her journey. However, Mr. Bingley politely welcomed Elizabeth, and he was impressed with Elizabeth's decision to walk all the way to Netherfield.
A doctor visited to check on Jane, and the doctor advised her to stay at her bed and take a rest, as her sickness seemed to be getting worse. Elizabeth was planning to go back home, as she has ensured that Jane is safe, but, Mr. Bingley offered Elizabeth to stay overnight at his place, instead of walking all the way home again.
