Types of Pollution
Land pollution
The deposition of solid or liquid waste materials on land or underground in a manner that can contaminate the soil and groundwater, threaten public health, and cause unsightly conditions and nuisances is termed as land pollution.

Noise pollution
The presence of excessive unwanted noise in the surroundings is termed as noise pollution which may adversely affect living organisms is termed as noise pollution.

Water pollution
The excessive presence of harmful, toxic pollutants in the water which degrades its quality is termed as water pollution.

Air pollution
The excessive presence of harmful, unwanted pollutants in the air is termed as air pollution. This causes a physical, chemical or biological change in the air.
