-About the size of a fist. -Pumps blood to the different parts of
the body.
-Normally beats 70 times per minute.
Has 4 Chambers:

- Oxygen Poor blood is received by the RIGHT ATRIUM
- It will pass by the RIGHT VENTRICLE
- It goes to the LUNGS and EXCHANGES THE CARBON DIOXIDE WITH THE OXYGEN
4.Now OXYGEN-RICH BLOOD from lungs will
be received by the LEFT ATRIUM.
- It will pass by the LEFT VENTRICLE
- OXYGEN-RICH BLOOD will now be distributed to the different parts of the body
VALVES- Prevent the backward flow of blood
SEPTUM- Separates left and right side of the heart so blood won't mix
BLOOD
-Brings oxygen & nutrients to the different parts of the body
-Carries waste products (Exp: Carbon Dioxide)
