Intermolecular Forces
definition
Intermolecular force refers to the interactions that exist between molecules according to their nature. Generally, the classification is made according to the polarity of the interacting molecules, or based on the nature of the molecules, of the elements that make it up.

Metallic Bond
A metallic bond is a chemical bond that holds metal atoms together. These atoms are grouped very closely together, which produces very compact structures.

Covalent Bonds
Polar
In a polar molecule like HF, the valence electron density is shifted toward the fluorine atom. An arrow is used to show the direction of molecular polarity, with the arrowhead pointing toward the negative end of the molecule and the plus sign at the positive end of the molecule.

Non-Polar
A nonpolar molecule is one whose charge distribution is spherically symmetric when averaged over time; since the charges oscillate, a temporary dipole moment exists at any given instant in a so-called nonpolar molecule.
