Out of place

Loneliness

It is a emotional response form being isolated

It is to be separate form others but this can also be to be lonely in a mental way

Mentally lonely

Even if you are with peoples, you may feel lonely and this is due to being out of place.

I feel like this is more like "Out of Place" because it is being in a place but you know you are not supposed to be there.

It is being alone mentally, meaning that you are not physically isolated but mentally. Feeling that you do not belong there.

Art media

photography

I feel like photography would be great because you would feel more connected to the message that it is isolated

It would be good to use post effects and isolate the object and make it dominant such as changing the colour (one is not in a monochrome colour scheme)

It would be easier to show that it is reality. That this can be happening around you

not much idea into this yet

Replacement/ Displacement

Art style

Surrealism

It is to replace a object with other objects

I was thinking of out of place by having surroundings to show that it is misplaced but it can be more simple

to put a different object which has a totally different meaning in its symbol.

by doing so, it can tell more info than just presenting by telling it with irony or so.

to place objects in a weird place

Stand out

Meaning to have more attention

this means that the subject which is the dominant object would be easy to be dominant and stand out

As an example, a pale white dove in a band of pitch black crows would be out of place and because of the contrast of colours as well as the contrast of its symbol. The dove meaning peace and the crows symbolising death. Which stands out because of the contrast

It is what you imagine

I feel like this art style would work well with having things out of place because this art is made not to make sense because it is not real

As an example, an artwork by René Magritte drew "Golconda"

which is a picture of falling men. It is a displacement of rain to people.

Dadaism

An art style which is has random objects on random places.

This directly connects to one of the ideas of displacement
