Bacterial Diseases :warning:
Respiratory infections
H influenzae: is a gram-negative bacteria that can cause ear infections and in worse cases bloodstream infection.
Pneumoccocal pneumonia: normal type of pneumonia, can cause cough with phlegm and heavy breathing.
Tuberculosis: transmitted by an infected person, cause a persisten cough and swelling in the neck.
Diphtheria: very rare disease caused by a bacteria that can make poison, can cause death and paralysis.
Sexually transmitted infections
Gonorrhea: infection caused by a bacteria, affect males and females at the same rate and is transmitted during oral, anal and vaginal sex.
Easy to treat and cause pain on sexual parts.
Chlamydia: common STD that can be infected in any type of sex, and the symptoms are infertility on females and pain when peeing.
Skin infections
Discoid eczema: a type of dermatities that can cause the skin to become swollen and cracked in patches. It needs treatment to be cured.
Dyshidrotic eczema: can be caused by stress, touching metals, the symptoms are blisters on the palm and soles that is itchy.
Urinary track infections
Urethritis: is caused by Gonococcus, and also by gonorrhea. Causes inflammation in the urethra.
Cystitis: is common on girls and this inflammation can heal itself in a matter of days.
Eye infection
Conjunctivitis: mainly transmitted by touching the eye with an infected hand, it causes the pink eye and itching on the eye.
Keratitis: inflammation of the cornea and gives it a red color, can be treated with medical eyedrops or antibiotics.
Bacterial food poisoning
E. coli: we can get it by having contact with feces or food contaminated with it. Symptoms are diarrhea, stomach pain and vomiting.
Salmonella: transmitted mainly by raw food or drinks, like raw meat and raw milk or dairy. Same symptoms as E. coli with fever, only fatal on weak immune systems.
