TYPES OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE DOCUMENTS
Air Waybill
Document typical of international air transport, serves as an acknowledgment of receipt of the merchandise and as proof of an international transport contract between two airports
Bill of Lading
Document delivered by the shipping agency for the goods sent for transport from one destination to another.
It is signed by the representatives of the transporting vessel.
Certificate of Origin
Legal document that certifies that an export product originates from a territory and, therefore, may be subject to tariff preferences, allocation of quotas, obtaining trade statistics.
Combined Transport Document
Multimodal transport document
Used when goods are transported using more than one mode of transport
Draft (or Bill of Exchange)
Credit document used to support commercial operations carried out in installments
Packing List/Specification
Contains details of the packaging materials used in the shipment of goods.
Include details such as the measurement and weight of the goods.
Inspection Certificate
Document issued by specialized companies, which is issued, prior to shipment, in which the verification of quantity, quality and price of the export merchandise consists.
Proforma Invoice
Provisional document that you issue so that your client has all the necessary information about the products or services that you are going to invoice
Commercial Invoice
Legal document issued by the seller
Customs invoice
Document to export issued by the seller
It is required by the Customs of some importing countries for statistical or informational purposes.
