- - - - 1) A golf course was owned by the defendant firm. It allegedly entered into a contract with the first plaintiff via a letter dated October 30, 1999, using the letterhead of ‘The Golf Cheque Book.'
      - 2) However, no such entity as ‘The Golf Cheque Book’ existed at the date of the contract.
      - 3) The first plaintiff also paid the defendant on a regular basis, according to the evidence.
      - 4) The defendant claimed that at the time the contract was made, it was unaware that the first plaintiff did not exist.
  - - - A principal had ratified a contract without the full knowledge of all material facts
      - Held : The principal was not found to such contract.
  - - - The agent contracted to buy eggs without the authority. The principal tried to ratify the contract one week after it was made.
      - Held : Ratification was too late.
