INFLAMMATION, Granulomatous inflammation, Lymphocytic inflammation,…
-
-
-
Example: in Listeriosis
-sheep are fed with silage with Listeria spp present on it
-invade oral and nasal mucosa
-travel to the brain stem through trigeminal nerve
-infect the brain tissue,
-chemotactic agents are release to recruit inflammatory cell
-lymphocytes are recruited to the site of injury in brain tissue
-lymphocytes emigrate from site of production to blood vessel that supplying the brain
-aggregation of lymphocytes around blood vessels, forming a cuff called perivascular cuffing
-lymphocytes pass BBB reach the brain tissue for inflammatory response
Example: in tubercolosis
-when there animal has open wound,
-mycobacterium tuberculosis gain entry
-invade the host
-trigger inflammation
-neutrophil cannot kill them due to their virulence factor
-recruitment of chronic inflammatory cell, (macrophage, lymphocytes)
-macrophage fight the infectious agent
-fuse to from multinucleated giant cell if the infectious agents able to resist phagocytosis by single macrophage
-granuloma form when the bacteria are surrounded by macrophages and giant cell in concentric manner, with lymphocytes and plasma cell in periphery
in CNS, Liver, Kidney,
Mucous membrane
