The concept is an important part of historical inquiry. it is a point of view -The position from which people see and understand events going on in the world around them.
The concept relates to explanations or interpretations of past events that are open to debate. This can lead historians to draw different conclusions about what they are seeing.
The concept relates to the importance assigned to aspects of the past. In order to see if someone is/was an important person people use this concept.
Aims to identify, examine and analyse the reasons why events have occurred and the resulting consequences or outcomes.
The concept helps us to understand the impact of past events on particular individuals or groups. it is the ability to 'walk in someone else's shoes' - to be aware of, and sensitive to, their feelings, thoughts and experiences.
Over time some things stay the same, while others change.
The concept is the information gathered from historical sources, it can be used to back up statements and hypothesis.
Agricultural Revolution
The agricultural revolution was an unprecedented increase in agricultural production in Britain due to an increase in labour and land productivity between the mid 17th and late 19th century.
MAIN
A- Alliance System: The Alliance System was alliances between the big countries. There were two sperate alliances, the Triple Alliance and the Triple Entente. The Triple Alliance was made up of Austria-Hungary, Italy and Germany. The Triple Entente was made up of Britain, France and Russia.
I- Imperialism: Is the policy in which countries take over territories to gain power or for strategic reasons. This was like the scramble for Africa which a lot European countries trying to take territories in Africa.
M- Militarism: It can be defined as the increase of the sizes of armies and navies. This had began jealousy between countries. Like Britain and Germany, they had been trying to increase there army sizes but Britain's' was far bigger.
N- Nationalism: Is the pride and loyalty for one countries. this had increased the number in people enlisting into the army during WW1.
Industrial Revolution
Is the name given to the period of rapid development in manufacturing and industry from 1750 to 1900 particularly in Britain. This was a time when there was child labour.

WW1 was caused by the MAIN reason and tensions and jealousy between European countries. the tensions where broken when Franz Ferdinand was assassinated, this had a big affect in what happened next when Austria-Hungary made 10 harsh demands to Serbia. But Serbia only agreed to 9 of 10 demands. This had caused Austria-Hungary to announce war on Serbia after this it set of a chain reaction for European countries to announce war on each other this caused other colonies of these countries getting involved in war causing WW1.

The children during the industrial revolution were treated very poorly this was due to the over looker in the factories treating them harshly and not being paid enough money to afford school or other niceties. child workers would also be working never stop for hours.
