Earth as a home of human kind
Temperature
17 degree Celcius is average temperature if it were to change by only few degrees, species due to extreme cold or heat.
Venus and Mercury are very hot with max. temperature more than 400 degree temperature, thus life can not exist.
Planets after the earth are cold with surface temperature below 0 degree temperature, thus life can not exist.
Venus is hotter than Mercury due to greenhouse effect on the surface of Venus.
Distance from Sun
Earth is at obtimum distance from sun
Neither too hot neither too cold
Atmosphere
Atmosphere is made up of life supporting gases like Oxygen, Nitrogen and Carbon dioxide.
Earth recieves heat from the sun by solar radiation.
Looses heat and remains cool by earth's radiation.
Greenhouse effect in atmosphere helps keep earth warm ozone protects life from UV rays
Water
70 per cent of earth is made up of water
distribution of water is responsible for moderasting climate and surface condition
Ecosystem
Self regulating and self sustaining structural and functional unit of the biosphere
Regulates food chains and interdependence between species
Lithosphere
Provides necessities for all species living on earth
Cycles
Nutrition cycle
Carbon cycle
Nitrogen cycle
Oxygen cycle
