What rights do they have?
They still have the right to:
-Have medical attention
-Right to legal help (lawyers)
-Right to vote (3 years or lower sentence)
-Right to make complaint (descrimination, not being treated fairly, being attacked)
-Right to transfer to another prison
-Right to information (government document, medical results, legal aid)
What rights do they loose?
Right to privacy (searched, watched by camera)
Right to freedom (cant leave cell)
Not paid
Human interactions
Things that happen after jail (our research and opinion)
Although they are meant to have all these rights they sometimes loose them
Abuse
Treated horribly in prison (beaten by guards and fighting with inmates)
Detachment from society results in physical and mental health issues
Denied opportunities because of being in prison
Hard to attain obs after
People don't trust them
After they leave jail they don't trust people
