PREDICTIONS :warning:
Worse water, air and land conditions: the large amount of harmful substances that we humans use has ended up in water, rain, air and land, thus degrading the basic resources of human beings in the future that depends on life on Earth and will not be suitable for human consumption or use.
Disappearance of the ozone layer: environmental pollution also affects and will continue to seriously affect the ozone layer, which absorbs the most harmful solar radiation that reaches the Earth. The holes that are open in it are allowing the passage of solar rays that are very harmful to life, which will cause diseases such as skin cancer.
Global warming: the greenhouse gases that we emit into the atmosphere are increasing temperatures around the world with consequences that will cause the melting of the polar ice caps, the increase in sea levels, the destruction of habitats and the biodiversity that It inhabits them or the appearance of increasingly extreme climates that will make survival difficult.
Extinction of biodiversity: not only does global warming cause the disappearance of species and ecosystems, but these are also being destroyed by poor water and air quality, excess noise and light in the environment, the presence of chemicals on the ground or in the garbage, therefore, it won't be strange that little by little we see more species disappearing.
Damage to human health: harmful substances in the air we breathe, in the water we drink or in the products we eat, together with increased solar radiation, will drastically increase people's risk of suffering from all kinds of pathologies. Among the most common are respiratory diseases or tumors.
SOLUTIONS :recycle:
Reduce the use of transport that runs on fossil fuels: this way you will avoid emitting greenhouse gases.
Reuse: give a second life to all those containers, boxes and pieces that you consider trash! Try to give it a new use, you could even make pieces of jewelry or crafts with them.
You shouldn't throw garbage out of containers or bins: even if you live in a city, if you throw garbage on the ground, it is most likely that the wind and rain will end up carrying it to the sea or to the nearest natural ecosystem.
Reduce the consumption of single-use plastic: plastic is an extremely polluting substance that remains in nature for centuries and centuries. So, you should better use eco-friendly and reusable materials. For example, instead of using plastic bags from supermarkets, take your own cloth bags.
Don't use pesticides or aerosols: try to completely eliminate the use of aerosols and pesticides from your life, since they are very polluting. And if you need to use them yes or yes, make sure they are respectful with the environment.
TYPES OF POLLUTION:fire:
-
Atmospheric or environmental pollution. It consists of the release of chemical substances into the atmosphere that alter its composition. It poses a serious risk to the health of all living beings.
Water contamination. It is due to the presence of debris in the water. The pollution of seas, rivers and lakes is produced by human activities and is a source of infections.
Soil contamination. Like the two previous types of pollution, it is due to human action (waste and garbage thrown on any land surface).
